Terms of Service
Last updated: June 14, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
ScoutSocial is operated by Aigentifyable LLC, a limited liability company registered in the Republic of Armenia (“ScoutSocial”, “Aigentifyable”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using ScoutSocial, you accept these Terms. You means (a) the individual using the service, and (b) the legal entity (the Customer) on whose behalf that individual is acting. The individual confirms they have authority to bind the Customer. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.
1.5 Definitions
In these Terms: 'Aigentifyable', 'ScoutSocial', 'we', 'us', 'our' refer to Aigentifyable LLC. 'Customer' means the legal entity that has agreed to these Terms (typically the business or organisation in whose workspace you operate). 'You' means the individual using the service and the Customer they represent. 'Connected Platform' means a third-party social-media service whose account you have connected to ScoutSocial via OAuth. 'Platform Data' means any data ScoutSocial accesses, stores or processes through a Connected Platform's API, including raw API responses, derived analytics and aggregated outputs. 'Personal Data' has the meaning given in our Data Processing Agreement.
2. Description of Service
ScoutSocial is an AI-powered social media management platform whose services include, without limitation:
- Content creation and AI-assisted generation
- Scheduling and publishing across social platforms
- Analytics, insights, and performance tracking
- Team collaboration and approval workflows
- Social listening and competitor analysis
- Integration with third-party social platforms (Meta — Facebook & Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube/Google) via their official developer APIs, subject to per-platform terms described in § 7 below.
3. Accounts and Workspaces
You must be at least 18 years old to use ScoutSocial. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We do not actively verify age beyond this self-attestation; however, if we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate the account. You must provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of any unauthorised access. Each organisation workspace is logically isolated from every other workspace.
Connected social accounts. You may only connect social-platform accounts that you personally own or are explicitly authorised to manage. You remain personally bound by each connected platform's eligibility, account, identity and content rules — including, where applicable, Facebook's single-personal-account rule, Instagram's professional-account requirement, LinkedIn's prohibition on shared, proxy or service accounts (LinkedIn API Terms §3.1(7)), and each platform's minimum-age and real-name rules. ScoutSocial will not knowingly enable an action that would cause you to breach those rules.
Withdrawing access. You may disconnect any connected social account at any time in Settings → Connected Social Media Accounts. Disconnection immediately revokes our authorisation to act on that account, stops all scheduled posts targeting it, and triggers deletion of cached platform data on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy § Retention.
4. Acceptable Use
Your use of ScoutSocial is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy (the AUP), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The AUP sets out permitted and prohibited uses, per-platform compliance obligations, automation boundaries, and consequences of violation. At a minimum, you agree not to: (a) use ScoutSocial for any unlawful purpose; (b) violate any connected social platform's terms of service, developer or community policies; (c) interfere with the integrity or performance of ScoutSocial; (d) attempt to access ScoutSocial through any means other than the interfaces we provide; or (e) circumvent rate limits or other technical controls. Material violations may result in suspension or termination under § 12.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
- Your content: you retain all rights to content you create or upload
- AI-generated content: content generated by our AI tools is provided to you under a non-exclusive licence for your own use. You are responsible for reviewing, editing and approving AI-generated content before scheduling or publishing it.
- Platform IP: ScoutSocial, its design, features, and technology are our property
- Feedback: any feedback you provide may be used to improve the service
- Platform content licences. Content published to a connected platform via ScoutSocial becomes subject to that platform's own content licence. Several platforms (notably Meta, X and TikTok) take a perpetual, sublicensable licence over content published through their APIs, which may survive deletion in ScoutSocial. See § 7 for per-platform disclosures.
5.1 Platform brand assets
Trademarks, logos, brand names and product names of the Connected Platforms used within ScoutSocial belong to their respective owners and are used in accordance with each platform's brand-usage guidelines. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use a platform's brand assets beyond what that platform's guidelines independently permit.
6. AI-Generated Content
ScoutSocial uses third-party AI providers — currently OpenAI and Anthropic — to generate suggested text, captions and other content. You acknowledge that: (a) AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or otherwise inappropriate; (b) you are solely responsible for reviewing, editing and approving AI-generated content before scheduling or publishing; (c) AI features must not be used to publish content that infringes third-party rights or violates any connected platform's community standards; (d) ScoutSocial will not silently modify approved content before publishing without surfacing the change for your acknowledgement on a per-post basis (see § 7.8 for the composer guarantees); (e) our contracts with AI sub-processors prohibit them from training their models on your prompts, content or platform data. Some platforms require labelling of synthetic or AI-generated media — you remain responsible for applying any required disclosure before publishing.
7. Third-Party Integrations
ScoutSocial connects to third-party platforms via their official developer APIs. Your use of each connected platform remains governed by that platform's terms, developer policies, community standards and brand-usage guidelines. ScoutSocial monitors each platform's policy-change channels and updates its integration within the period required by the platform. We are not responsible for outages, deprecations, or unilateral policy changes on the part of a connected platform, and your access to platform-specific features may be suspended, restricted or terminated if the platform suspends, restricts or terminates our developer access (see § 12). Per-platform disclosures follow.
7.1 Facebook & Instagram (Meta)
ScoutSocial's Facebook and Instagram features are provided under Meta's Platform Terms, Platform Policy, Commercial Terms and the Meta Brand Usage guidelines, in addition to the Facebook Terms of Service and Instagram Terms of Use. Only Instagram Business or Creator accounts can be connected; personal Instagram accounts cannot be managed via the Instagram Graph API. By connecting a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account, you confirm that the underlying individual user has accepted Meta's Terms of Service and Meta's Advertising Standards. Content you publish to Facebook or Instagram via ScoutSocial is subject to Meta's content licence, which is perpetual, irrevocable and sublicensable and survives termination of your relationship with ScoutSocial.
7.2 LinkedIn
ScoutSocial's LinkedIn features (scheduling, publishing, analytics, social listening) operate under the LinkedIn API Terms of Use, the LinkedIn Marketing API Terms and the LinkedIn Data Storage Requirements. Scheduled and automated posting is available because ScoutSocial participates in LinkedIn's Marketing API Program (a vetted program); if LinkedIn revokes that access, scheduled publishing will cease. You may only connect a LinkedIn account that belongs to a real individual who has personally authorised the connection via OAuth — shared, proxy, headless or service LinkedIn accounts are prohibited (LinkedIn API Terms §3.1(7)).
7.3 X
ScoutSocial's X features are provided under the X Developer Agreement, X Developer Policy, More on Restricted Use Cases, and the X Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Content you publish to X via ScoutSocial remains subject to X's content licence, including X's right to use content for machine-learning and AI-model training. Before any X post is published, ScoutSocial will display the exact text, media, hashtags and mentions that will be posted; we will not silently modify approved content. You agree not to provide X Content or X-derived data accessed through ScoutSocial to any government entity whose primary mission includes surveillance or intelligence-gathering, and ScoutSocial reserves the right to reject or terminate accounts that do so.
7.4 TikTok
ScoutSocial's TikTok features are provided under the TikTok for Developers Terms of Service, TikTok Developer Guidelines, TikTok Terms of Service and the TikTok Privacy Policy. During any period in which our TikTok Content Posting integration has not passed TikTok's Live app review, posts you publish via ScoutSocial may be restricted to Private / Only Me regardless of your selected privacy setting; we will surface this status in-product at publish time. When publishing TikTok Branded Content (paid partnerships or sponsored posts), you must activate TikTok's native Branded Content disclosure toggle in our composer. If TikTok terminates our developer access or your TikTok account is terminated, we will delete all TikTok Information held about you across all storage systems.
7.5 YouTube (Google)
ScoutSocial's YouTube features are provided under the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Developer Policies, the Required Minimum Functionality document and the Google Privacy Policy. By using ScoutSocial's YouTube features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. You may revoke ScoutSocial's access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. ScoutSocial will: (a) clearly identify YouTube actions (publish, like, comment, subscribe) as YouTube actions and require your express, per-action consent; (b) not silently modify titles, descriptions, tags or visibility settings; (c) not download, import, cache or back up YouTube audiovisual content; (d) label any ScoutSocial-derived metric that is displayed alongside YouTube API Data; (e) discontinue YouTube features and delete YouTube API Data if Google suspends or terminates our access. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data received from Google APIs.
Search-result integrity. Where ScoutSocial surfaces YouTube search results in Content Explorer or Social Listening, those results are displayed unmodified; results from other sources (e.g. Pexels, Bluesky, Google News) are clearly attributed and not merged with YouTube results in a way that suggests YouTube origin.
7.6 Platform access is conditional
ScoutSocial's third-party platform features depend on continued developer access to each platform's APIs. If a platform suspends, restricts, or revokes our developer access — whether due to a policy change, App Review outcome, audit finding, or unilateral platform action — the corresponding features may become temporarily or permanently unavailable. Similarly, if a platform suspends or terminates your individual account or Page, ScoutSocial will lose its ability to act on that account immediately. We are not liable for loss of platform access caused by the platform, and we may need to remove or change features to comply with platform requirements.
7.7 Tech Provider role and per-client segregation
Where ScoutSocial manages Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, LinkedIn Organisations or YouTube channels on your behalf, we act as a Technology Provider under Meta's, LinkedIn's and Google's developer terms. You agree that: (a) you (or the individual connecting an account) have accepted the underlying platform's terms and brand-usage rules before connecting; (b) only Pages, accounts and channels you administer or are explicitly authorised to manage may be connected; (c) you will not create, claim, or take unsolicited action on any Page, account or channel without the administrator's consent. We maintain strict per-client data segregation, will terminate a client's access on a platform's request within the platform's stated timeframe, and will notify you within 24 hours of any data-subject request a platform forwards to us concerning your accounts.
7.8 Composer, scheduling and publishing
When you compose or schedule a post using ScoutSocial: (a) we display the exact content (text, media, hashtags, mentions, visibility setting) that will be sent to each Connected Platform before publish; (b) we will not silently modify approved content (no auto-appended hashtags, no AI-driven rewrites, no description truncation, no visibility re-mapping) unless you have explicitly acknowledged the change on a per-post basis; (c) cross-platform publishing requires explicit per-platform selection — no platform is included by default; (d) we will not inject branding, watermarks, calls-to-action or promotional overlays onto your media when publishing Stories (Facebook/Instagram) or video uploads (TikTok/YouTube); (e) each YouTube action (publish, like, comment, subscribe) requires your specific, express per-action consent; (f) where a feature is available on YouTube (e.g. captions, scheduling, visibility), we offer it for YouTube on at least the same terms as for other platforms; (g) when you delete a published post in ScoutSocial, we attempt to propagate the deletion to the source platform on a best-effort basis with limited automatic retries — if propagation cannot be completed, you may need to delete the post directly on that platform; (h) before publishing to a Connected Platform, we may present a publish-time compliance confirmation requiring you to acknowledge that your content meets that platform's community standards and policies; by proceeding past that confirmation you accept sole responsibility for the content's compliance with those standards and policies, and your indemnification obligations under § 11 apply accordingly.
7.9 Material changes to integrations
If we materially expand how we use a Connected Platform's data — for example, by requesting new OAuth scopes or adding new categories of API access — we will submit those changes through the relevant platform's review process (Meta App Review, LinkedIn Marketing API pre-notification, YouTube API Compliance Audit) before activating them in production, and we will notify you of any change that requires fresh consent on your part.
7.10 Future messaging features
ScoutSocial does not currently provide direct-messaging, Messenger or Inbox features. Should such features be added in the future, they will be subject to additional platform-specific terms (Meta Messenger Platform Policy, X DM rules, LinkedIn Messaging, TikTok DM, Instagram DM) and to additional opt-in consent flows for both sending and receiving organisations. Until then, this clause is informational only.
7.11 Developer-alert channel
ScoutSocial maintains a monitored email address registered with each Connected Platform's developer dashboard, and configures its mail systems so that platform-policy notifications are never filtered out. Users will be notified through ScoutSocial of any platform-policy change that requires fresh consent on their part.
8. Billing and Subscriptions
ScoutSocial's subscriptions are sold and invoiced by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), our merchant of record. When you purchase a subscription, Paddle's Buyer Terms govern the payment transaction, in addition to these Terms. Subscription plans, fees and billing cycles are described on our website and in the Paddle checkout. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time via the Paddle customer portal linked from your account settings. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy.
9. Privacy
Your use of ScoutSocial is also governed by our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Data Processing Agreement, Sub-Processors list and, where you are a California resident, our CCPA Rights notice. By using ScoutSocial you acknowledge that you have read these documents.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScoutSocial shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Without limiting the generality of the above, ScoutSocial is not liable for any loss arising from the unavailability, suspension, modification or termination of any third-party platform's APIs or services, or for any action taken by a third-party platform against your account or content.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless ScoutSocial, Aigentifyable LLC, our affiliates and our personnel from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the service; (b) content you create, upload, schedule or publish through ScoutSocial; (c) your violation of these Terms or the AUP; (d) your violation of any connected platform's terms, developer policies or community standards; (e) your infringement of any third party's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or the AUP. On termination of your account, you may export your account data within 30 days using the in-product export tool; after that period we will delete or anonymise your data, except where (i) we are required to retain it by law or (ii) a connected platform's developer terms require shorter, longer, or platform-specific deletion. On termination, disconnection or revocation of a connected social-platform account, ScoutSocial will, in accordance with the relevant platform's developer terms: cease all action on that account; delete cached platform data (immediately for LinkedIn Member Data; within 7 days for YouTube API Data on user revocation; in all forms upon TikTok API termination); and, where the platform requires (notably YouTube), provide signed certification of deletion. See our Privacy Policy § Retention for per-platform retention details.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be referred to the competent courts of the city of Yerevan, Republic of Armenia. Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes affecting your rights, we will provide at least 30 days' prior notice by email or in-app notification. Your continued use of ScoutSocial after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you must stop using the service before the effective date.
